passwd in plaintext in registration email = bad!
Why on earth do you send my password in plain text in the registration email? If you are going to send a password in plain text upon registration, make a random temporary one and have the user change passwd after clicking the confirmation link.
What you have in place is bad practice. Seriously9 votes -
Renew the openid.org certificate
Renew the openid.org certificate (which expired 18Sep2010), put up an entry that openid.org is closing so people can migrate away.

assure users that openID.org stays free forever or state clearly that it will be a paid for service
if openID.org will hold the key to your online identity then it can hold you to ransom at a later date by charging for its services. Please state clearly that the openID.org services will be free for ever or there are plans to commercialise the service.

Avatar / User Photo
OpenID used to have avatars which showed up on other sites when posting comments.
Not really interested in one login for the whole web if it means having a drab web personana. If you don't bring back the avatar pics I'll be looking for a different service.3 votes -

Set up a mechanism for registration that doesn't require us to register in order to register to register.
Have been trying to get some basic info on registration. I can't get my questions answered unless I log in, which requires me to be registered on specific services (e.g. g-mail). If I were registered, I wouldn't be having a problem in the first place. Most frustrating.
